Morgan Aurora Rose Taylor

Photos from the past twenty-one weeks
(Posted on 5/29/2014)

It's been a long time, about five months. Allow me to catch you up...

I'll begin a couple days after I left off, right after New Years.

Morgan and Clare rode thier bikes around Capitol Lake one afternoon during our sunny early January.

Leaning on those training wheels...

what a couple of good pals.

...And now a few snapshots from some miscellaneous events from the winter:

Smiling during her train ride up to Seattle with Cynthia.

Some sillyness scaryness here...

Morgan made some musical connections this winter.
She learned to use her CD player, and spent a lot of time looking out her window and listening to music.

(Actually, I think she was feeling sick when I took this photo. We all went through it this winter... Yuck.)

Some of her favorite songs:
  • Purple People Eater
  • The Man who Sold the World
  • Do-Re-Me
  • Puff the Magic Dragon
  • The Flight of Icarus (aw yeah)
  • Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  • In February, it snowed!

    ..and still riding that bike...

Awww, a birthday gift for me?

    Another drawing:

In April, we went to Baja.
Here are a few photos of Morgan from when we were down there

Morgan and Clare were dressed as flying squirrels in this year's Procession of the Species!

Lucy, Adi, and Morgan, as well as Freya and Naima (not pictured) attended a performance of Swan Lake on Mother's Day!

    Fun during the intermission

Hangin' out at PPP with dad one weekend morning...

    4-year old ninja mastery attained

Within a couple of weeks Morgan learned to swing on the monkey bars (below), and swim without any floats!
...and then, on Memorial Day, she suddenly starts riding Clare's little bike with no training wheels!
This picture (and video following) is actually from today. She's been riding without training wheels for three days now.

    I'm so proud!

Is that summer I see ahead?

    Oh... yes... it is!
