The Taylor family's first overnight trip out of town (and country).
September, 2009
Cynthia, Morgan, and I travelled up to Vancouver Island for the weekend.
We stopped for a few hours in Bellingham to visit friends.
Sorry to those who we missed seeing, it was a super-quick visit!
Here are the highlights:
Bellingham, WA
Charlotte and Lindsay
Spinning a yarn to the boyz in Cary's kitchen.
The Tsawwassen to Nanaimo Ferry
Ladysmith, BC: Morgan meets the McCuish clan
Great-Grandma Katy and Morgan
Morgan received a warm welcome from all.
Morgan met about half of the McCuish side of the family.
Shawn, I missed you buddy. Maybe next year?
Sproat Lake, BC: Morgan meets the Taylor clan
This is the famous Sproat Lake from Ann's deck
(for those of you who haven't seen it).
Ann and Caitlin hanging out on the great new dock.
This dock has kid-friendly stairs down into the lake.
Yeah, the w-w-w-water's w-w-w-warm, come on in!
Next year, maybe we go in July or August?
Morgan's first of many Sproat Lake dock experiences
I could hang out here all day.
Uncle Scott and Wenche.
Morgan, you're looking pretty tough, except for the little flowery dress.
A little sleepy and disheveled, but happy.
There are four generations of Taylors in this photo.

Victoria to Port Angeles Ferry
Victoria harbour
One more fun and successful trip north!
We'll see you again next year, Canada!
