Family Camping at Pearrygin Lake, near Winthrop, WA

July 3-6, 2014

Unstoppable camper!

With this being the 4th weekend in a row, I'm spending more time in my tent (or bivy) than my bed these days! Life is good.

We (Eric, Morgan, myself) drove through the night to Winthrop, WA.

Winthrop is situated in the Methow Valley, just on the east side of the mighty:
North Cascades National Park.
(sound of angels singing)

We didn't get to the camp site until about 2:30 AM, but it was nice to wake up there and get to jump right into the lake.

Without further ado or narrative, here are the photos:

A photo from the Everett ER!
Unbeknownst to me, Morgan had an ear infection. Her ear wouldn't clear when we came back over the mountains. Apparently, it was pretty painful.
We had to stop in Everett and deal with it. Afer a couple of hours in the ER (mostly waiting), she was good to go.
